"Bathrooms really nice and new, bedrooms could do with a lick of paint and more plugs, especially on dressing table. Hallway carpets smell a bit musty."

"Booked to stay for my daughters birthday , a family of 4 and the 2 bedroomed apart was fantastic. The facilities in the accommodation were great. It was a fab location. Very central to see everything we wanted to. Easy and smooth check in and parking. The staff were fabulous. We were on the 9th and thr view couldn't of been better"

"Location was good for what we needed however we were on the third floor (two flights of stairs per floor) with no working lift and were only informed of this when we arrived. I am asthmatic so carrying a suitcase was not fun. A member of staff told us that the lift had not worked for two years! The room had a dead fly on the pillar that was in an awkward place in the room when a person with a bad knee had to get up to use the bathroom in the night, a stain on the quilt cover and the towels, although replaced daily, one had a stain on them. No hot water in the bathroom sink so for my partner to shave was either cold water, boil a kettle or do in the shower with no mirror! There was plenty of room in the bathroom for storage however there were no hooks for towels or a shelf so our toiletries had to live on the floor! No hook for coats…..there were a few hangers but wouldn’t want to put a damp coat near clean clothes. We didn’t sleep very well due to noise outside (I’m aware this can’t be helped by the hotel) and as the room was really warm we had to have the window open. The shower was lovely however no bath mat was provided so the floor got very wet (remember our toiletries had to live on the floor!) we had booked this hotel for our stay next bank holiday in May however we have cancelled the booking now due to the above points. "

"Air conditioning did not work, body wash in the shower was empty, unable to open the window at all, no microwave, no fridge. Staff was very nice and in a good location. Did not try the bar or restaurant but did hear live music. It's an ok hotel in a good spot but honestly overpriced most likely because of the theme. "

"Superb stay, with a killer view of the River Mersey. Front Desk Staff was truly accommodating, allowing for an early Check-in, giving us more time to see the sites in Liverpool."
