"Overall this is a nice place but could be amazing if more effort was put in by the management. We loved having an individual unit, the view, the fireplace, and the hiking trail behind the property. However some downsides. Not sure if it was just the changing of the seasons, but the staff didn't seem interested in hospitality. Also the pool was freezing and dirty. At least the outside temp one day was warm enough for guests to use it as a cold plunge! Our room wasn't the cleanest, the shower leaked and a the sofa bed was very uncomfortable. This hotel came highly recommended by friends but the same friends did say it's been going downhill year after year. It is worth the money for sure, still a good value, just not sure if I'd call the unit we had "luxury' or the property a 'resort'. We would definitely go back but with just lowered expectations. "
