"Beautiful property in the beautiful Douro Valley with a nice pool. There is no winery on site, but it is in the middle of beautiful vineyards. You can go down the road to Pinhao or to St. Eufemia Winery for a tour. Breakfast was great and the staff was very accomodating. Great price for a beautiful stay. The property would benefit from some more outdoor leisure areas to sit peacefully and enjoy the view other than the balcony of your room or the pool/deck. Lenore at the desk was very nice...

"I cannot say enough positive things about this hotel. At check-in, I was thoughtfully greeted and allowed to retreat to my room well over 3 hours early. Reception encouraged me to get some rest when I mentioned I was quite tired, and that they’d be happy to give me a tour once rested if this was my preference.
