"We really enjoyed our stay in a Western-style Japanese room. It was more spacious than many in Japan, with comfortable mattresses on a raised platform. There is a public bath in the hotel which was a nice way to relax in the afternoon. The hotel is right next to the entrance to Nara Deer Park and a five or six minute walk from Nara Kintetsu railway station. The area is relatively quiet at night but there are plenty of good dining options and it's convenient for shopping etc."
