"This is our second visit to this establishment in a year. This visit was much much better than the last. Elevator was working, they had pool / beach towels (But they don’t like exchanging them for fresh ones) the majority of the staff was much nicer. The young man who checked us in was great! Joshua or Johnathan. Helpful took care of a light issue we had and answered questions with a great smile. The area has really become nice with all the improvements and look out views. The grounds are so clean. Daily saw trash pick up moping cleaning windows and the massage therapists there are great!!! We will go back !"

"I am very afraid of any insect and they crawl the bed at midnight, they don’t bite but they are there , i didn’t take a pic bit is not a croach , more like little beetles rice grain size , I was expecting some bugs because the ceiling is palm leaves you get to enjoy the most spectacular and beautiful beach , the sister hotel is across the street and is were the food is served , you’ll have sun beds and umbrellas included , playa norte"

"From the moment we arrived Liliana concierge was absolutely amazing as well as all the staff around the hotel! She paid attention to detail and made our stay the best! From arranging our transportation from the airport to the ferry round trip , our restaurant reservations which she made extra special for my daughter’s birthday, to our golf cart rental and spa recommendations. I traveled with my daughter and granddaughter for a girls birthday trip and she made it memorable and made us feel safe and like family. Gracias Liliana por todo❣️🙏 All the staff were absolutely wonderful as well! Thank you William for making our dinners special, Roberto at the Cevicheria, Nancy making breakfast yummy, Enoc bringing us drinks at the beach, Felix making our water aerobics and pool parties fun and DJ Kimberly for keeping us dancing 💃 and the fun activities for the kids. Victor in the lobby always greeting us and making sure everything was ok. Laura in the spa was great. This is my second time coming here and never disappoints! Forgot to mention the beautiful beach, delicious food and location! Perfect for families and couples can’t wait to come back! Thank you Mia Reef you have the greatest hospitality and staff."

"Everything about this property was lovely! From the moment we got there the staff was very friendly. Day two we noticed AC was not cooling down very well, it was fixed right away. They helped us get a golf cart for a day. They arranged for our taxi to pick us up to take us to the ferry on departure day. The pool was perfect after a beach day! It overlooked the ocean and was just beautiful. There's an outdoor pool bar right near the main pool. There are three pools in total. The rooms were clean and simple. Had everything you needed. Shower was hot! The entire hotel was as pictured and within walking distance to everything you need! Playa Norte was a short 5 minute walk. We will definitely return and would highly recommend"

"For the last 25 years, I’ve always thought about staying here and never got around to it. This trip I stayed there for four nights. My room overlooked the ocean and with the balconydoors open I could hear the waves almost coming into my room. Each balcony is equipped with a hammock to lay and just enjoy the sound of the ocean and the breeze. Wonderful sunrise. The hotel is several blocks straight up from the ferry. It is very close to a number of hotels. It has a small private pool, which was well maintained. The place is very clean limits, towels, soap, etc. are provided, but the old lady is beginning to sort of show her age but still I would highly recommend the state of just for the view and the sounds. I found the staff to be quite helpful in that morning cup of coffee downstairs was well appreciated."
