"The cleanliness of the hotel was questionable. The carpet in the room was filthy. The bathroom was very dirty, the doorframe and door had large makeup stains that I had to clean myself. I found stains on the towels as well. Moreover, it was our first trip to Vancouver with young kids and I had requested the hotel for a memorable stay since we were visiting to celebrate our daughter's 8th birthday, there was no acknowledgment from the staff whatsoever. The staff was also not very friendly."

"Great location. This neighborhood felt lived-in rather than like a tourist destination, despite the fact that it had a lot of tourist-friendly amenities. Walking distance to a lot of good stuff, i.e. Stanley Park, Gastown, the ferry to Granville Island, etc. Across the street from a drug store with a good grocery section."
