"The Fold is in a lovely area of Hebden Bridge. Being able to park our car safely was really good. Quick walk along the canal side into Hebden Bridge was a lovely walk. Having our own little terrace was lovely to enjoy the views with our morning cuppa.Melanie made us a homemade cake for our arrival along with a bottle of wine. These personal touches were very much appreciated.A wonderful stay."

"We had a delightful few days in this wonderful property. Brian and Carolyn are very friendly and thoughtful hosts and Sutcliffe Barn is a little haven of tranquillity, exactly what we needed at a difficult and painful time in our lives. I just wish we could have stayed longer."

"Room basic but clean. Facilities are slightly tired but adequate. The only slight complaint was that the shower was not much more than a dribble but the water was warm. Staff helpful and friendly. Note: Hebden Bridge is hilly and the hostel is up the hill from the town centre. It is not that far and should not put you off using the hostel"

"Paul was a great host,contacted me via WhatsApp on arrival. Lovely clean house,ideally positioned for the centre of Hebden Bridge,friendly people, streets can seem a tad scruffy on first impression, rubbish & bins outside the back doors,etc, but they are narrow,old, cobbled streets/terraces,& you can totally understand why they’re chosen for many filming locations.A rotary washing pole positioned on the back street, meant we couldn’t gain entrance to park our car after going out for the day, but it was soon rectified by knocking on the residents door who happily moved it so we could drive up the cobbled street & park outside the back door of number 6.Just a few things we noticed about the house, all the internal wooden doors have cracks down the centre,no small bin in the bedroom, no hooks on back of bedroom or bathroom doors,no hook or towel hoop for a hand towel next to the sink in the main bathroom,no hand towel in the downstairs toilet,we used one from the single bedroom ,no extra pillows, but these things didn’t distract from us having a great stay, & we have no hesitancy in recommending,"

"Lovely quirky little cottage with everything you need Bud stop just outside cottage in to Heben Bridge or can have a nice walk on public footpaths that doesn’t take too long Nice friendly pub next door would definitely stay again"
