"Great location, great staff, great value for money!"

"Property was clean and tidy. Shower was spacious however room was very noisy even on the 10th floor and hot, fan was offered in the room as no air con available. Potentially could do with some updates and offer blackout blinds/curtains "

"The room was clean, secure with controllable heating and there was a safe and iron in the room. There was no fridge in the room, but I was able to keep my drink cold for the morning in the sink filled with cold water. I was able to work on a table at the bar and the friendly staff kept me going with refreshments. It was a shame that Room Service stopped serving on Saturday evening at 11pm. I didn't get back from my meetings until late and I was pretty hungry. Otherwise, this is an excellent and fully recommended hotel. I have stayed here many times and it will continue to be my choice of hotel when visiting Newcastle (although technically the hotel is in Gateshead)."

"It was a nice hotel with good breakfast and attentive staff. We chose the hotel because it offered a twin room. This is what we specifically booked. I confirmed that again at reception however they still gave us a double room. They converted the bed to two singles for us but they must’ve been the narrowest beds I have ever seen. Apart from that it was a nice stay and the location is excellent."

"Great location along the river, really close to the rest of the city. Room was nice and big, with a decent selection of amenities."

"Breakfast was great, all 3 of our rooms booked had permanent issues with air conditioning and bathroom extraction where they did not work at all, so there was no air flow in the rooms and was hot all weekend. Maintenance came and reset the fusebox but it failed almost straight away after. We were supplied small fans but not great considering the hotel we thought we were booking. Other than that we had a lovely stay but feel slightly let down with the room circulation."

"Hotel dirty , shabby and poorly maintained. Disgusting stains on bed bases, dirt all around skirting boards, carpet stained, chair has a hole, curtains stained with brown, noisy, toilet didn’t stop running water, shower terrible, I could still go on.. save your money stay somewhere else.. I wish I did"
