"Winterstoke is a HUGE house with 4 massive double bedrooms and a large twin room. This does not feel like a holiday rental, it feels like a home. I have never stayed in a property that is so well appointed, every detail is covered. The quality of the house is really fantastic and incredibly comfortable. "Both my wife and I found the hotel faultless, we only wish we’d booked a few more days to enjoy being in the hotel. It has to be taken on board that the hotel is about 200 years old, so consequently the structure of the building doesn’t support having a lift. Charles Dickens stayed there, his house is next door Dickens‘s house, but with nine children a wife and a maid in such a small house he found it better sometimes staying in the Royal Albion. You go to sleep listening to the waves breaking on the beach, you wake up to a stunning Seaview, strongly recommend."

"We had the absolute pleasure of being the first guests at the Tide House, and it did not disappoint! The home is well-equipped and comfortable, beautifully decorated, and exactly as pictured. The host was very responsive. Location is magnificent as it's just far enough from any noise from bars, but minutes walk to the lovely beaches Viking Bay and Stone Bay, as well as restaurants and shops. There are blackout curtains and comfortable beds. There is off-street parking, a dining table in the lounge that comfortably sits 8, and a delightful courtyard to have meals outside. If you have a child who is used to a nightlight at the top of the stairs, bring battery powered lights for hallways and stairs as there are no sockets, also none in the bathrooms. Highly recommend a stay in The Tide House! We hope to book again for another perfect getaway."

"The apartment was absolutely spotless - it even smelt clean! The beds and bedlinen are of very high quality. The kitchen/dining area is enormous and very well equipped - except we feel there should be a coffee maker, like a Nespresso machine, or a cafetière at least. The area is crammed with great restaurants and coffee shops and you are also close to the beach. Would thoroughly recommend. "

"The cottage is ideally situated. It’s a short walk to the beach and places of interest like the Dickens museum. There are many restaurants a short walk from the cottage. It is warm and comfortable, with a nice kitchen and living room. We enjoyed our stay. "

"Fab little one bedroom house, in the centre of Broadstairs parking is very tight though but there is a carparkat top of the rd if needed. The high street is right on your doorstep with some fab bars and restaurants it really comes alive at the weekend. Beautiful beach although just watch the seagulls. The train station is a ten minute walk and very cheap to get about. Overall we had a fab stay highly recommend staying here and can’t wait to return."
