"This hotel was a perfect place to stay overnight before out cruise. It was a bit further from the waterfront than anticipated but still a doable walk. They have a free shuttle to their sister restaurant for dinner which was a nice perk after a tiring day of travel. The owner was very friendly and welcoming."

"The staff was pleasant and helpful. The restaurant is convenient, we purchased a bottle of wine in the afternoon and sat on the outside terrace to relax and enjoy the view. Unfortunately we did not eat there so we cannot comment on the food."

"We loved the Palazzo Podestà in Civitavecchia! It was above and beyond our expectations. The property was an amazing getaway with luxurious amenities and looks like a dream. The enormous junior suite had high ceilings and a large balcony with spectacular views of the water. The staff was very helpful with our requests of local dining, cultural activities, and transportation needs. The perfect location for staying near the port for your next cruise!"

"The room was very clean a bit small but perfect for one night. It was on the main strip so very convenient as far as places to eat and things to do. The website for the hotel does say there is a restaurant on site and there is not! That was a big turn off for me. The other thing that really put a damper on my stay was I asked the front desk to please call me a taxi to get to the cruise ship and he would not do it. He said I should have had a reservation and told me to walk to the train station....

"Did not receive email till 4/10 regarding room was on 2nd floor and no elevator, Actually was on 3 floor. Bathroom was not inside our room. No lobby had to text that we were outside to let us in. Hard to find also"
