"I come out to San Diego on business pretty often and this is the only place I’ll stay at. So easy and convenient. Staffing is amazing. Valet is great and they’re so nice too! All deliveries can be delivered to your door too and don’t have to go and pick up at lobby. This is the apartment with a view of downtown that you’ve always wanted. Trust me. You won’t regret it."

"Clean sheets, bathroom clean, old small room, water hot, old tub and layout, and fan does not work. Not many convention guests stayed. Friendly staff, average $15 breakfast for hotel stay, food fresh but meager bread serving...average to good limited food choices and small cafes. Great people smiles but small staff you see all day."

"The phone didn’t work in the room to be able to contact the front desk. The pillows were horrible. I requested for my room to be cleaned and was told it would be done yet no one cleaned it. "

"If you’re into insta posing by the large pool, you’ll love this place. It draws a mostly younger crowd, genZ/millennials, at least while I was there. Lots of nightlife, music and posing at the various bars/clubs on premises. There were a few families with kids which was a bit of a surprise. The food and drink at the various restaurants and bars was excellent and reasonably priced. While my room was beautiful, the biggest drawback for me was the lack of any surface or drawer to put away my stuff, not even a luggage rack, so everything wound up on the floor. Housekeeping service was only available by request, not automatic. I don’t think I would return to the Lafayette but I can see why a lot people would love it. "

"The staff was very friendly and helpful. Parking in the underground garage was sketchy at night. The room was fine. Breakfast was not great. Hard mini bagels, toast and cereal. Overall it was a good place to stay for a night. "
