"The property exudes history with its beautiful lobbies, pool and garden area with outdoor seating. Rooms are clean and comfortable. Quick access to the Riverwalk, Alamo Plaza and the Mall. Being in downtown San Antonio plan on paying $47-$60 per day for parking, since the hotel does not have its own (neither do most of the other hotels there). We parked at the mall lot, which was only a one block walk."

"Beautiful property, great location on the river, staff was very friendly. The only reason for less than 5 stars is because we got to the hotel at 4:30 (check in is at 4:00) and the room was not ready. They put a rush on it and we only had to wait about 15 minutes. However in their haste, they missed trash left on the balcony by the previous tenants which included a half full coke can they were using as an ashtray. They did apologize and quickly removed the items once we told them of it. We are already booking another stay at this hotel."
