"We stayed in one of the Mountain View Deluxe cabins. The view was amazing! There was a seating area out on the porch that overlooked the valley and mountains. It was so tranquil sitting out there drinking our coffee in the morning! The king-sized bed was very comfortable, and the decorations were very cute. The room had a quality AC unit, a mini fridge, and a microwave. We loved exploring the trail and seeing the deer and all the birds flying around. They have a Rec Hall and grills you can use for BBQ. We loved the tranquility of the pool and its cleanliness. They have a small convience center if you want to buy drinks or essential items. The staff were very friendly and welcomed all our questions and requests. The week before we arrived, the storms knocked out the Wifi, but that really wasn't an inconvenience at all, as there is so much to do and see there. It is really cool that you can stay there in an RV for longer periods, and the tent camping area is large and looks very peaceful as well. It was an all-around good time, and we will be back!"

"What a great hotel! We were pleasantly surprised by this little gem positioned right in downtown Fredericksburg. The storefront is deceptive--behind it lies a beautifully modern property with a pool, bar, and small restaurant. Behind that is an outdoor barbecue/beer venue. The rooms had a unique design--modern and yet, zen. The front desk staff was just great. We plan to visit again!"

"Beware! There were several positive aspects to my visit, including the ample parking, effective air conditioning, and comfortable king bed. I also appreciate your staff's prompt assistance in providing a microwave (rooms are not equipped with microwaves) and extra towels. However, I would like to highlight several areas for improvement. The rooms and pool area are outdated, particularly the room carpeting. Additionally, the ice machine outside our room was non-functional throughout our stay. Regarding the golf facilities, while the course was in decent shape, the driving range is in poor condition, and the $150 weekend rate was overpriced. Most importantly, I encountered a billing discrepancy during checkout. At checkout we were advised that we had only paid a resort fee for one night when booking the three night stay on Expedia. My Expedia booking confirmation showed a total of $567, yet the resort’s records indicated only $511 had been paid. Despite having already paid the higher Expedia rate, I was required to pay an additional $50 resort fee."

"Overall, it looks like it was just redone and looks fairly nice. However, the room we got was terrible. We booked a two room suite and when we got there, it smelled horrible like death and mold. The clerk told us the person that had the room last spent five days there and did not ask for housekeeping so she did not know what they did in there. Apparently they only have two of these rooms so they did not have another one to accommodate us. It was like pulling teeth trying to get our refund because we went to another hotel. The clerk said to call Expedia and she would approve it, but she did not put any notes in or have the authority to do so and it was days later that I finally got them to approve the refund."
