"Good location on Main Street and reasonably priced. It’s a good place for a family with a toddler because of its convenient location. However, the property could use some maintenance. The tiles are old, and there was a cracked tile near the toilet. The bathroom also overflowed from the toilet during our stay. I reported the issue to the front desk and requested maintenance, but no one came to address it. That was the most disappointing part of our stay. I was concerned about the safety of my son, especially with the damaged tile and the bathroom issue."

"Overall, it looks like it was just redone and looks fairly nice. However, the room we got was terrible. We booked a two room suite and when we got there, it smelled horrible like death and mold. The clerk told us the person that had the room last spent five days there and did not ask for housekeeping so she did not know what they did in there. Apparently they only have two of these rooms so they did not have another one to accommodate us. It was like pulling teeth trying to get our refund because we went to another hotel. The clerk said to call Expedia and she would approve it, but she did not put any notes in or have the authority to do so and it was days later that I finally got them to approve the refund."

"Check in was very straightforward. The room was on the second floor, facing the parking lot. This is a motel style property with all rooms opening to the outside. The room was well decorated but some of the furnishing had some wear and tear and one of the lightbulbs was on its last legs. Overall the room was fairly dark and could have used a main light. Cleanliness was acceptable but there was a lot of dust on the floor behind the sliding door. The beds were comfortable and we slept well, without noise from other rooms or the surroundings. The staff are very helpful and nothing was too much trouble. Coffee is available fresh 24/7 and the breakfast was good. Other amenities include guest laundry (which we did not use), a heated pool, and fires/fire pits. The location of the motel is good but the walk to the main street is longer than it first appears, so be prepared to get some steps in. Would not hesitate to stay here again next time we are in town."

"Beautiful new hotel Bar was great Staff was great Everything else was basic. Not enough to justify the price per night. It is located in the center of Main Street"

La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Fredericksburg

"Hotel was convenient for sure, 5 mins from downtown Fredericksburg but as soon as you walked in, it reeked of tobacco smoke and mildew. The smell was strong and they have the audacity to make you sign a no smoking waiver. Too late for that. Hotel needs to invest in redoing the entire lobby/1st floor to get the saturated tobacco smell out."

"They booked 3 rooms total. I booked 2. Couldn’t get my money back. The a/c didn’t work and the tvs didn’t work. Got 2 other rooms. the a/c worked but one of the tvs still didn’t work. I got ripped off. I will never stay there again."

"This property is beautiful however the rooms although renovated as they promote have a terrible motel look from the exterior. The smell of mold or moisture is awful I WILL NOT RETURN"
