"Queens is a lovely hotel, we used to stay at 131 but got fed up with the noise from below. Old school traditional hotel ideal location for town. As far as we are concerned it ticks all the boxes. We didn’t get the opportunity to eat there but I’m sure we will on our next visit. Joe on reception was very informative and friendly."

"The location is stunning . The room was ok apart from the bathroom smelled. Some of the improvements were ok . When you order a £35 pound ribeye a steak knife should be placed on the table Would have liked some ketchup, nobody to ask same for breakfast.disappointed that they don’t except cash . Drinks are overpriced & if your serving Guinness put it in a Guinness glass & fill it to the top not a 3” head. Would I stay again YES definitely. It’s nice staying somewhere where you’re not worrying...

"The chair hurt my back. It was old and not ergonomically at all. The internet was slow - cannot do video calls without pixelating. There is no room to move around - only space for 2 beds, feels congested. The commode is so close to the door that you will feel as if you are sitting touching the door. All this makes it a lousy place to stay for more than two nights. I stayed there since all my colleagues were supposed to stay there too."

"We recently stayed at this hotel and overall had a pleasant experience. The hotel itself is set within a beautiful listed building with lovely gardens, which gave it a lot of charm and character.
