"The staff was amazing - usual breakfast but they had crepes for breakfast and the eggs were delicious. Our room was very comfortable but only feedback was we did not have a full window and we felt a bit closed off from the outside. The staff was amazing and it was very centrally located to everything downtown."

"My first trip to Norway and I hope to return but I will never stay at another Scandic hotel again. The Scandic Torget does not have enough tables in its restaurant. Two days running, I got up from my breakfast table to go and get another coffee, only to find that somebody had taken the table on my return and there wasn't a thing I could do about it. This is a problem particularly for solo travellers. What are we supposed to do? If we leave a bag, book or mobile phone to show the table is in use...

"A good size room, large in fact. Kettle and tea etc would have been good. Breakfast was pretty good, good service. Very handy for town centre, bus and light rail services to airport. It is getting on in age and the room a bit careworn but still ok."

"Stayed for 3 nights with family.The hotel location is good and close to supermarket and other amenities. It's a 20 minute walk to train station. No tea or coffeemaking facilities in room.In common area were there were facilitaties for coffee and tea,the tray was empty on a lot of occasions and when we asked staff just kept pointing at paid machine which was not very helpful. Self check in works well and also good facilities to store luggage. "
