"Very easy to locate with clean rooms and amenities. Very little parking behind the building, but staff was excellent at providing guidance for additional parking options. "

"This is a great hotel for a stay in Selfoss. Easy to find beautiful location and the dining area is beautiful over looking the river. Do not expect large beds we had 2 twins that were pushed together but very comfortable. Very quiet did not hear any noise in the room. "

"So many great things to say! The host was exceptionally friendly. The room was fantastic with a beautiful view of the ocean with a semi-private patio. The host also had a really nice common kitchen area where freshly baked cakes were made for the sampling! The family hiked up the hill to the waterfall—and met very friendly dogs, got up and maybe too close to some small sheep families, and we did not want to leave a minute early!"

"This was an average property, but convenient along our travels. Room was very small. Beds were not comfortable. No washcloths were given (I understand it is a European thing, but other hotels did have them in the rooms). No hair dryer in room - had to ask at the desk if you want one. We did not eat at the hotel restaurant, but did down the street at the Babylon Bistro which was really good."

"We loved this hotel. There are 2 hot tubs outside which were very enjoyable on a cold day. The room is simple but clean. Breakfast is served in the cabin next to the hotel and it was very good. There aren’t many restaurants around the area so make a reservation at Mika- that may have been the best meal we had in Iceland. They make their own chocolate so get the best chocolate cake you’ve ever had."
