"The Zen Hotel was great. They had a hard time finding my reservation at first but that happens at times. We had 2 rooms during our stay with both being Deluxe Studios with 1 King Bed with sofa bed. The rooms were nice. One had a beautiful view of the city. The room was nice and the bath room had good hot water. WiFI was excellent as well. "The Friends Hotel and Rooftop was everything we love about a hotel. The staff were all friendly and helpful from the moment we arrived until the day we departed. Each morning, a delicious, and ever changing, breakfast exceeded our expectations. We took a smaller room on an upper floor that had a view of the Panecillo and the location was convenient for walking throughout the Centro Histórico. Our first choice on any visit to Quito."

"Clean and conveniently located family hotel for a few days in Quito. Four of use fit in one room, and its private patio was nice. The water was hot and the included breakfast was reliable. There was street noise, but it was worth it to be just a few blocks from the main plaza. "

"The hosts are so sweet. Breakfast is very good they will cook eggs and bacon fresh for you. The rooms are very clean with fresh flowers a lovely touch. There is a small bar where you can have nightcap. The area around has lots of restaurants and bars. The square seems a little sketchy but we had no problems and felt very safe. We would recommend a stay at this hotel."
