"This place is, in the best possible way, a blast from the past! A nice, quaint roadside motel with a mountain vibe! Great views of the Catskills from the small hill where there’s a fire pit and Adirondack chairs for relaxation and lounging. Re-read Rip Van Winkle after a fantastic dinner at Deer Mountain Inn as it got dark looking upon the mountains where the story took place. Picturesque and perfect! Had the entire motel to myself and it was so nice, quiet, peaceful and relaxing. Wonderful...

" Attentive and great service. Easy prephone registration, lobby cozy and updated. DVD's to borrow. Basic room had nice bed, towels and Beekman 1802 toiletries. Mini Frigidaire fridge. I wish room had been a bit more updated. Kitch wood paneling from the 60's is an experience, but carpet was musty and damp. Grounds were beautiful. Cabin rooms had fire grills and picnic tables. Right on the main route 28 to all things Catskills."

The place is comfortable with unique touches such as the sauna and the beautiful artwork throughout the house. The backyard was fully fenced, so my dog had a blast running around outside. Danielle was very easy to reach and promptly responded to my question about the sauna. I highly recommend as a place to unwind while having access to the restaurants and towns nearby. "
