"I really wanted to love the hotel as much as I liked other Alila properties but it was a disaster. I understand that some people may have a good experience there but mine was a disaster. Overall, it’s okay!
"The room was modern and very pretty. Location was great, it’s right next to the tallest building in Shanghai and very close to the metro stop. Yet, the walls were too thin so we can hear other people talking. Their checkin process was disorganized, we literally have to check with the front desk each time, and they did not text/call us. "
