"The place was awesome. Very comfortable for our group. Dock and lake a lot of fun - walk to the dock a great workout for all! Kitchen was well equipped - had everything we needed. Extra refrigerator in the basement helped with keeping large group outfitted with cold drinks! Lots of places to gather to eat, hang out and talk! Hanging chair was a big hit with teens. Owner/host was really helpful answering questions. We would/will go back!"

"Our favorite place we’ve stayed so far! Enjoyed fishing down on the dock. The house is comfortable and the beds are comfy. Close to many attractions (Amicalola Falls, Helen, Dahlonega, etc). Definitely would recommend!"

"House is better than the pictures. Amazing location and safe place on the lake for the kids to swim. We had a few issues that could have definitely made our stay better (lost remote control for downstairs tv before we got there that owner could not replace in time, power outage due to storm). Worked out fine. Definitely recommend this house. "

"We rented this lake house to celebrate our son’s wedding with a rehearsal party, and it was absolutely perfect. The property was spacious, beautifully maintained, and had everything we needed to host our family and guests comfortably. Everyone had room to spread out, and the accommodations exceeded our expectations. We’re so grateful to have found this gem for such a special occasion. Highly recommend!"

"To start, this was by far the best stocked VRBO I've ever stayed in! The home is on a lakefront lot on a very quiet cove. Very clean and all of the little things like soap, extra trash bags, paper products, storage containers. The home and dock stood up well to the freak storm that affected all of the neighbors' docks. The owner was very understanding about the lack of power due to the storm and had flashlights and batteries available."

"The owner has spent a bit of cash trying to improve an old house (more to this below). But zero dollars or effort were spent to make the lakeside property area safe for guests. The pathway from the house to the shore is quite steep and very long and extremely unsafe because the actual "path" is only identifiable via a shallow, narrow depression in the dirt. That's filled with rocks and wood bits which are hidden under a thick, deep mat of wet leaves on top. A kind neighbor saw us struggling to not fall and told us to please use his paved pathway to avoid the serious risk of a broken leg. At water's edge is a scary, twisted, tilted ramp to the dock (50 EXTRA). The dock looked ok, but is unusable due to a fallen tree blocking the water. Inside, the house is roomy, but all windows are small, thus the whole place is dark and gloomy, so lighting is needed during daylight hours, The bed and bath rooms are redone and linens are ok. Furniture is newish. Neither TV would allow access other than Netflix, which only loaded in Spanish. Evening Management tried to help by phone but finally advised us to go online and get a new subscription. No outside or digital antennas would load. A friend called to tell us of approaching severe weather, possible tornadoes, and we could not get TV weather updates. Kitchen is equipped with old, beatup barely functional cookware. Multiple calls were required to gain access code and management's "Mister Plushy" who answered was not interested or helpful."

"The property is at the end of a very quiet, hilly winding road-3 miles from Publix and lots of shopping-but looks and feels like being in the Adirondacks! As other reviews have mentioned, the steps leading to the upper level bedroom and the lower level master suit (which also housed the washer and dryer) are on the steep side, but we almost 80 year olds managed fine. The path down to the dock can be quite slippery as much of the steep trail is covered with slippery pine needles —it’s doable, but may not be easy for those unsteady on their feet. That said, it was a delightful place-all the comforts of home. The only minus I found was that while there were tons of fluffy towels, there weren’t any washcloths in evidence. All in all—I’d certainly rent it again! Also, the property manager was top notch—responded to texts quickly—very professional and, pleasant."

"As advertised is correct. Plenty of room for everyone and clean. Would be a great large family location. Boat dock was fantastic because of the upper deck for sunbathing and relaxing. BJ with Lanier Luxury Boat Rentals was great with drop off and pickup of pontoon boat, small business at its best. Loved seeing all the wildlife especially the deer all day long. Thx Jason."
