"We absolutely loved our stay at the Smith House. Weād eaten there before, but weād never spent the night. The staff was friendly, the beds were so comfortable, and -of course- dinner was divine. "

"This hotel is at the far end of the town, so it was a bit far to walk to the downtown area. It is, however located across from a Waterpark and the Festhall where the Oktoberfest celebration starts. Outdoor pool available. Breakfast was homemade waffles, etc... overall, good experience."
"Amazing views from this hotel. Highly recommend. Staff was all very friendly and courteous. Room was clean and loved the location of the hotel. Plan on coming back in the fall."
"I dislike that I was unaware that there would be a $400 hold even though the rooms were paid for in full. I don't think this is a fault on chateau elan it is on Expedia for not making their customers aware of any potential holds there may be once you get to the property."
"For starters, Helen is a great, little town!
The Inn was cozy & quiet. Walking distance to everything. Good TV, nice shower, and a great-comfy King bed!
The only negative-door was kinda hard to close; had to slam it.(Room #207)."
"We missed the memo that they were undergoing major construction but still had a great time! The property is beautiful, rooms were clean, and we had some great meals at the restaurant with great service. Canāt wait to come back once renovation is complete!"
"Great location in the heart of Helen. Itās within easy walking distance to the shopping and so many great restaurants. The staff was super friendly and helpful. They even texted us 30 minutes after we checked in to make sure everything was okay with our room. "
