"I loved the fact that the Lodge is located next to Hamilton Gardens, a beautiful collection of rhododendrons and other ornamental shrubs. The Gardens attracted a lot of birds, and I sent daily bird lists to eBird."

"⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ We had a wonderful experience at Alpine Valley Inn! The owner is truly exceptional, always on the front line, personally making sure every guest receives the best possible service. You can tell that customer satisfaction is a priority and that the owner genuinely cares about making your stay comfortable and enjoyable. "Good place"

"Dated but fine."

"The room was clean, but this is more like a roadside motel. It served its purpose for a one night stage just a couple of hours, but I would not have been happy if I had to stay there any longer. They did have some little decorations up, but the property itself is dated. My comments are just geared towards the physical property. The staff and everything else is fine."

"The room was clean with a firm bed. Beautiful view by the creek. Very close to town center."

"Our room smelled like a pack of dogs lived in it. The smell was overwhelming. We asked the caretaker for some air freshener which he provided, but it didn’t mask it too well."

"Our stay was better than expected. To be clear, this is not a 5 Star hotel but for the type of hotel/ motel, it was excellent…. a 5 star experience. The staff was exceptional and the room was super clean. The unit we stayed in appeared to be newly remodeled and the bed was very comfortable. The location was within walking distance of everything downtown so that was a bonus! The breakfast was a typical continental style. We would stay here again!"

"GREAT BREAKFAST!"
