"The host communication was excellent they even left brownies and a note. Unfortunately, as a family with two small children, there were a few things that made this trip more challenging than relaxing. The location is great however, the driveway has a very, very steep slant and there is not any part to park on that is level. This makes it very dangerous for little ones or elderly to safely walk on. House itself was outdated and quite worn in many places. Bathroom fixtures, cabinets, washer/dryer and towels. There was no access to the garage which also made it more challenging. There was a room directly off of the living room that had a lock on it, but yet you could see inside of the room, which was very odd and a little unsettling. The internet and tv did not ever work correctly consistently. There is also no way to stream popular apps, such as Hulu or Disney. The living room is the only room that has a TV. Probably more of a preference but the water pressure was weak and temperature was low. Overall, I think the hosts were very nice, there are definitely some things that could be updated and improved for the price. "

"Let's start off with the house is amazing! Location was great, plenty of room for myself and my friends. We had a lovely time.A few of the problems were the hot tub not working and it taking a big chunk of one of our 3 days there going back and forth with the property manager (who was trying so hard to fix our issue) but it didn't get resolved until around 6-6:30pm. Not really what you want to spend your time doing on a birthday weekend. But the hot tub was one of the main reasons we picked this location since the lake is still cool. They need a few more kitchen items (maybe more coffee mugs-or bring your own). The house hold 11 people but only 5 coffee mugs...easy fix. One of my friends cold plunged into the pool because you have to pay 300 extra to heat it so just be aware of that if its not summer.We spent most of our time in the back patio and it was amazing. We did have to go and take the propane tank and fill it up at our own expense to light the table. Both tables have a light/fire feature but only one had a tank and it was empty. The owner said he would have done it for us but he was traveling out of town so another expense we paid extra for and shouldn't have.The check out process was easy and overall we had a great time celebrating my 50th birthday."

"Friends would not stop talking about the view. Host was great! Very nice and accommodating. We had a few hiccups with a few things but host was very attentive and made sure everything was resolved right away. The property was beautiful and was perfect to fit a large group. We were lucky to find a place so close to our wedding venue to house everyone! Thank you for a great stay."

"The property was beautiful inside and the outside area was very nice. We would have preferred an actual bed on the main floor rather than the “porch swing” but all of the casual spaces to sit and talk with family members and friends made up for that.We would still rebook this property. We did enjoy our stay!!"
