"I would like to give a big shout out to the Chief Butler (I'm embarrassed that I did not remember his name). This gentleman had gone above and beyond the call of duty in helping us with arrangement for transportations and dinner reservations. He's a gem. "Sofitel on Renmin Square exceeded our expectations in the quality and spaciousness of the room: for example, it had two toilets and a seperate Tub/Shower arrangement). It also exceeded our expectations in the breakfasts and the ambiance of the dining room. Additionally, all of the staff (expecially Leo the concierge) made us feel welcomed and were warm and friendly. Our stay at Sofitel Xian was a delight and an unexpected highlight of our 4 night stay in the city."
