"Rooms were big enough for 2 men with luggage. Clean, and close to JTNP entrance. Owner is helpful. Close to groceries and restaurants. Overall, I would highly recommend staying there"

"This place was great for our family. We had 2 adult couples traveling, so each one of us got a unit, all on our own. There is a wonderful barbecue in recreation area between the units. The home is very close to the entrance of Joshua Tree making it wonderful for stargazing for sunrise trips. We would stay here again next time."

"We stayed in an Airstream suite for one night. The staff were kind and friendly. The room itself was not bad, but the skillet was greasy and covered with ash, and the cutting board clearly had leftover food residue from previous use. Additionally, the blanket stored in the sofa bed seemed used—it was wrinkled and had a noticeable odor. Unlike some reviews, we did not have issues with the air conditioning, though there was some noise. The biggest concerns were the room cleanliness and the checkout policy. A 4 PM check-in and 10 AM checkout seem unreasonable, especially given that Airstream accommodations naturally require more time for proper cleaning and preparation. With such an early checkout, expecting guests to leave everything perfectly organized is unrealistic, which makes thorough housekeeping even more important. Our one-night stay was manageable, but overall, we would not choose to stay here again."

"Love this place. Great location and the house is perfect for a weekend when you just want to hang out with your college age kids, visit the park, eat well, soak in the hot tub and play some pool. The decor is phenomenal and inspiring. Looking forward to coming back soon!"

"Relaxing time at Village House. Location was perfect, felt very safe. Kitchen is very well stocked. Communication with host was easy and very responsive. Family relaxed in hot tub. Many restaurants and stores nearby. Would definitely stay at Village House again!"

"John was the best host ever. He had us call him at check in togo over detail heat/air/tv. And communicated check out instructions too. His place was beautiful with lots of artistic detail. We loved his restaurant recommendations Pappy and Harriet and Yucca restaurant (middle eastern). We also cooked and had everything we needed to cook. We loved our stay there and would recommend it yo anyone."
