Oceanside Cottage with Private Beach Access

"Enjoyed every minute of our stay at this sweet beach house! Quiet, private, and very accommodating for a couple and our beloved dog. The wraparound deck was truly the best part! Morning coffee, afternoon reading, evening cocktail, all with a stunning view! The night sky offered another spectacular view of the Milky Way and a few shooting stars! Lauren was very responsive to messages and most accommodating when we asked to stay an extra night. Will look forward to visiting again!!"

"Great location across from the beach. Public path to the beach was a short walk. The shed had a beach wagon to load chairs, etc. Plenty of seating inside and out. Has a firepit but we didn't have time to use it. The A/C kept the cottage really cool. Kitchen was fully stocked.Many good restaurants in the area. We recommend Bocca, Off-the Hook, Fathoms, Sweet Ginger, Sail-House Tavern, Mike's, Cisco Kitchen & Bar (New Bedford on the water with outside seating and a bandstand - great music the night we were there.) Another outside place with a good band was Seaport.From New Bedford, a short drive away, I recommend taking the ferry to Martha's Vineyard.The cottage location is close to Stop & Shop grocery store and some other local shopping. For the ladies, I recommend a cute gift shop called Periwinkles.The cottage has a good amount of space except for the very tiny bathroom. But it was adequate for the short time we stayed.I would recommend the cottage."

"The cottage was a great place for a relaxing vacation near the beach. The house itself was clean and had al the amenities of home, including AC, gas grill, oven, patio, and multiple gathering places for small groups. Check-in and out was a breeze. The nearby Pope Beach is literally a 3 minute walk away, and offered the best small ocean beach experience we've had in a long time. Absolutely refreshing. I'd highly recommend staying here if you're looking for a nice cottage next to the beach for up to 4 adults."

"Beautiful beach home with all the amenities one could need for a great vacation! Spectacular direct views of Buzzards bay and of a beautiful marsh to the side and back of the house. Comfortable dining and gathering spaces on the deck and inside. Can’t think of anything to improve upon-the owner has thought of everything. We hope to return!"
