"Wonderful building with charming, comfortable and quiet rooms - you can see why The Cross is a very popular place to stay.
The host was extremely helpful, and nothing seemed too much trouble. The breakfast was one of the best that we have had on our travels, very well cooked and extremely good quality.
A big shout out to Luna the cat too!
Thanks for a lovely couple of days. "

A small town with surprisingly lots to do. The town is rich in history and you can tell those involved in either attractions or running small businesses are invested in the local area and carry a sense of pride in the area.

There are some great places to visit not too far away but the transport links are vertually non existent a bus that runs every 4 hours was all I could find. Athough I did find a great Sunday roast so nearby you could walk to it.

I didn't have time e to explore Wells properly and I most certainly wish I did! Everyone was friendly and the pace is a nice relief. My mistake was arriving late at such short notice that the lovely staff already working late didn't know when! Sorry!
"Staff made check in really easy and couldn't be more helpful generally. The hotel had a lovely cosy vibe and our triple room was spacious. There were quite limited and expensive options in the hotel and surrounding area for dining but the breakfast was great."
"Enjoyable short break, ideally situated - a short walk to the train station, shops and sightseeing attractions. Comfortable, clean room with some lovely quirky decor. Front of house staff informative and helpful. Would definitely go back."
"My visit to Bath was memorable. Such a beautiful, historic city. The Hampton was a wonderful choice of hotel. The room was large and bright. The bathroom facilities were incredible with multiple grab bars for added security for those with mobility issues. The service was great with helpful staff. The Hampton was in an ideal location as almost everything of interest was within walking distance. I would definitely stay in the Hampton again. Thank you very much."
"Never heard of Z Hotel before. Am I ever glad I found it. The staff is amazing. Every single one of them. The rooms though small are all that you need. Amazingly luxurious. For the price you can't beat it. 1000 times better than any ABnB but for less money. I wish I had planned my trip better and had spent more time in Bath and therefore would had more time at the Z. Until next time "
"The Apex is in an very good location for walking to sites and restaurants. The staff is excellent and amongst our family we had 3 rooms, which were very clean and comfortable. We had dinner one night at their restaurant which was also very good. We would highly recommend this hotel."
"Weekend staff were amazing. On Monday the chef was extremely rude and condescending when was told that the coffee machine had run out of coffee and when was requested for a fried egg. She literally snapped at my son when he asked for a fried egg. Not impressed at all! Otherwise this hotel deserves a 5 star rating all over "
