"The hotel was fine. Hotel.com should not advertise breakfast included, when midweek it is not. The hotel kindly provided breakfast when we pointed out you had advertised it. Also very unhappy with your link to Tesco vouchers. We had to use your specific booking channel to use our Tesco vouchers, which cost nearly twice as much as if I had booked it directly myself. This rendered the vouchers almost valueless as far as we were concerned. So, in summary, hotel very nice, but not happy with the elements linked to you."

"Beautiful. Perfectly placed in the centre of wells. Staff are helpful and friendly. Our room (no 2) had a beautiful four poster, a lovely shower (but not really suitable for a larger person) as the door only opened a very small way. The pin opposite did play loud music on the Fri and sat night until gone midnight but it didn’t bother us too much "

"Beautiful place to stay. Close to shops, pubs. Lovely and quiet. Clean and very nicely renovated. Contact with Emily was good. Highly recommend. "

"This is the 2nd time me and my partner have stayed here, this time we did 4 nights in the West Front pod, once again it was lovely, so peaceful, no noise, the location of the pod is lovely, with a lovely view of Wells Cathedral, the accommodation was spotless, everything you need for a quiet break away from all the hassles in life, the log burning hot tub was lovely, an endless supply of logs to use and the hosts are always available if you need anything. We cannot fault this location and are returning for our 3rd visit in June 2026. Thanks"

"great location and easy booking through luxury coastal. Reasonably well equipped pod, but there’s a reasonable amount of black mould around the shower and on the wooden walls. If you look closely it’s also really not very clean. Corners are full of dust and dirt, kitchen area needed a deep clean etc. Otherwise it was a pleasurable stay. Short walk into Wells which is beautiful and plenty of great places to eat nearby. There is also a Nespresso Vertuo machine in the pod, but no mention of this and no coffee pods provided"
