"This was a lovely place to stay so close to the centre of Wells and all that it has to offer. We had a safe and secure place to keep our bicycles and a car parking space as well which is hard to find in the centre of Wells."

"We had a lovely stay here whilst visiting lots of places of interest nearby. The view of the hills was marvellous. It was near to Wells and not too far out from town but rural enough to be peaceful and tranquil. The lodge had everything you needed and the bed was comfy for a good nights sleep that’s all that we could have asked for."

"The hotel was lovely, very well situated with wonderful views of the Cathedral. The staff were extremely helpful and the breakfast was very good, with local produce and additional extras - nothing was too much trouble. The building is very old and I would assume listed so the decor reflects that in keeping the original features such as the steep stairs which were actually fine to climb. Overall lovely stay and would definitely stay again."

"Great location for us as we wanted to visit Glastonbury, Wells as well as the Cathedral and the Royal Palace and heading home again for Stourhead so everything was very close by. Property was great lovely big bedroom. Kitchen was a bit small and warm. Could do with an oven tray and a trivet for putting hot stuff on from oven and some tongs but otherwise very satisfied."

"Lovely spacious, clean & comfortable apartment in excellent location few minutes walk to Wells & shops. Good place to stay for exploring other attractions around the area, Cheddar Gorge, Haynes Motor Museum, Bath, etc. I would highly recommend especially for a couple. Not suitable for wheelchair bound or those who have difficulty with stairs as it is situated on the fourth floor with four flights of stairs to climb."

"This was a great place. The location is excellent, about five minutes' walk to the market square and cathedral. Everything spotless and in good working order. Plenty of room in the apartment, conveniently laid out. Totally quiet and peaceful. Wifi worked perfectly. Parking was tight (Audi A3) but manageable. Highly recommended!"
