"The spa is too small. They have room for multiple spa/pools and there should be a sun shade,. The staff was perfection. Cleaning service staff were so sweet and kindly just switched towels and took trash as needed for a 3 night stay. Shout out to Gerard, who was the chef's kiss to our entire stay. He made us feel so welcome! He had coffee brewing pre breakfast service on our departure day, as well as meaningful conversation. Just a blessing to my husband and I. Most natural, yet accommodating, hotel experience at a budget friendly price point. We booked 2 rooms for our family of 7. They knew to place our rooms next to each other. Breakfast was great! On site parking was great! Everything was good here, but I have to stress that the staff made it great. Housekeeping, kitchen, desk were great. Gerard was above and beyond and took this place from an 8.5 to a 10. Hope he sees this. My husband misses you! Me too my friend!"

"PROS You can tell this is a hotel mainly oriented towards business clients the moment you step in. There’s an old-fashioned bar, meeting rooms, and middle-aged businessmen hanging out in the lobby, but this isn’t necessarily a bad thing for regular visitors as there were no kids or strange people around, which is always good. The staff were excellent, kind and professional, no issues there. We stayed in a twin room and it was a pretty spacious room with two separate beds, not a double bed with a split mattress thankfully. The bathroom is on the other side of the wall from the beds, which is nice for a little more privacy. In the room there were clean surfaces, a bench, a comfy chair, working AC, a hair dryer, and a kettle with an assortment of coffees/teas. CONS We were a bit upset with there being no mini-fridge in the room as we couldn’t keep any chilled drinks or dairy products. The room fairies only visit your room every 3 days, meaning no fresh towels every day like most hotels, and with no clothes drying rack in the room, the AC could only manage to pull so much water out of the towels, luckily we brought our own. I was a bit disappointed that I asked to have the coffee sticks refilled at the reception twice and because they didn’t have them on hand I had to wait for housekeeping to deliver it, which never ended up happening. OVERALL RATING 8.5/10"

"The location was very nice and near a subway line. The room was well-maintained and clean. My room was in the back of the building, and it was very quiet. It is a staff-less hotel, but questions were quickly answered over WhatsApp. All good. The hotel is committed to sustainability, which I believe is a very good thing, but there was no separate recycling bin for takeout coffee cups. And since the room did not have a kettle or coffee machine, I accumulated several. (When I asked over WhatsApp, the answer I received was to put them in the regular trash.) The hiccup was that the Hotels.com reservation system and the hotel's reservation system did not communicate well. When I eventually telephoned hotel support about arrival instructions (key access with phone, etc.), they could not find my reservation. It was eventually sorted out, but it raised concerns that I did not actually have a place to stay."
