"This rental is the upstairs portion of a house, with stairs to the entry door and an upstairs bedroom and hallway bed suitable for children who don't need to be close to their adults. The upstairs lookout deck was a favorite for coffee and morning tea for ocean viewing. The kitchen was spacious and well supplied, and there were two separate dining rooms. I suggest inquiring about the connections between different parts of the space before booking. The location gave wonderful access to miles of beach walking."

"We rented this house last year and came back for a second time. We LOVED it this time as well. It easily accommodated 8 adults with plenty of seating, dishes, towels, toilet paper, etc.... We walked along the ocean each day watching the surfers and spent time out on the back patio. Had great communication with the hosts!"

"Great property with excellent location! Finding the house was slightly confusing at first since the address is on one street but driveway is located on another street. Host communication was excellent when minor question was ask. Overall a great experience and would love to visit again."

"The home is very spacious and well-equipped, especially the kitchen. Having the grill and fire pit was great. The furninshings and decor were nothing special, but certainly more than adequate and functional. This is a great house for a large group, and the location can't be beat, expecially if you have dogs. Our two dogs loved the beach, and while it's technically not an off-leash beach, it was pretty empty and the few dogs there were all off leasch with no issues. The nearby (like 200 yards) Miramar Beach Restaurant was very good and couldn't be more convenient. We'd rent it again, for sure."

"We had a wonderful stay at this lovely property. We were walking distance to the beach and conveniently located just a short drive to cute downtown Half Moon Bay. The house was spotless and had everything we needed to be comfortable for our 11 day stay. The bed was very comfortable and I appreciated the separation between the bedrooms and living area. I loved the open living space, dining area, living room and large kitchen which made cooking while still chatting with my husband and our friend quite easy. The fireplace was a nice feature that quickly took the chill off on the cooler evenings. The backyard was private. It was nice to have the deck and gas firepit for enjoying the outdoors. We love grilling so having the gas grill available is always a plus. If you keep an eye out you might even catch some local wildlife. My husband caught a glimpse of a rabbit and we both were so excited about watching two great horned owls hooting away on one of the trees surrounding the property. The host was super nice and quite responsive. We would definitely stay again in a return visit to Half Moon Bay! Highly recommend."
