"I stayed here a long time ago when it was in soft-opening mode. I didn't know there were newer additions to the hotel, and I wish I'd known to book a room in main building with high ceiling."

"The property is well located for a stay in York, convenient for the train station and also for access to the city centre. It was clean and the room was well appointed. Lovely roof top bar giving a view across the city. Breakfast was good."

"In a really good position for getting into the city, with many bars and restaurants very close by, parking onsite is a little expensive (in my opinion) £25 per night. We found a parking spot 5 minutes walk away for £9 overnight, other than that definitely recommend this hotel."

"Staff were really friendly and accommodating. Child friendly, quiet hotel. Great breakfast with lots of choice and good quality. Rooms were clean and very practical for a family with one double bed and one sofa bed. Great location, two mins drive from park and ride which is an 8 mins bus ride into the centre of York. Hotel also 2 min drive to big shopping complex including Hollywood bowl and an Asda. "
