Lovely hotel in central location with beautiful public areas, friendly staff and good breakfast. However, our room - allegedly a superior - came up short in a few areas. It felt quite cramped, was very dark and did not have a hairdryer (surely standard in a 4-star hotel?) or a decent mirror for make-up. We also had a rather uninspiring view of the railway station, although happily we couldn’t hear the trains.
Plugs were not very well positioned, so I had to dry my hair (thankfully I had my own dryer with me) without being able to see what I was doing. We also didn’t have the complimentary water we had been promised in the booking info.
On the plus side, everything was spotless, we had sufficient towels and the bathroom was very spacious with an excellent shower.
