"North Lakes Hotel & Spa is a beautiful facility with lush green gardens. Who would have thought I’d be wishing for an air conditioned room in May! The rotating fan did help a little but my room still felt humid and stuffy. Also the toilets appear to have been upgraded but holding the button in to flush is difficult. Overall NLH&S is a beautiful facility with great service and friendly welcoming staff. I would definitely stay again but during cooler weather. "

"We booked last minute as we were tired with still a long way to drive home. We were welcomed by the owners and got our key quickly. They said they had only owned the hotel about a year and were gradually doing it up. The bar is listed and absolutely beautiful. Our room had everything we needed after a quick shower we had a great sleep. Breakfast was included in the great price and was top class. Hopefully we'll wander that way again and would definitely stay at the station hotel again. "

"Excellent service and attention to detail at Norcroft Guest House. Great location being only a short walk into town. Our room was spacious and very clean. Breakfast had a wide range of choices and was great. Mark and Paula were friendly and helpful hosts. I would highly recommend. "

"We stayed for 3 nights and wished it could have been more. The hotel is in very good shape. Everything has been well thought out and the decor works seamlessly from reception to lounge, conservatory. Restaurant, corridors , landings and bedroom. Spotlessly clean, fresh towels and bedding. Lovely bathroom, plenty of hot water. Staff very friendly, pleasant and efficient. Food was excellent each breakfast and evening meal. The external seating areas worked well with well laid out patio and garden. Can’t praise the hotel enough. A wonderful 3 days and will definitely return for a relaxing few days holiday in the future."
