"Lovely hotel not too far away from the M6. Bed was really comfortable and bedding really nice. Food was nice and service good only problem was the numerous flies in the dining room. "5 stars are not enough for the George and Dragon - the absolute best care and hospitality can be found here! Such a gem in a beautiful village with so much history. All the staff were so kind and accommodating, and the food was delicious and generous portions. Only place open for dinner in the evening so be sure to reserve! Highly highly recommend. "

"I loved this property. Angela, the owner, was very welcoming and nothing was too much trouble. I loved that it was a farm and enjoyed the drive back and forward each day. One day we were stopped as a dog got all the sheep into one little area. It is not far away from where we wanted to be and we went to Beatrix Potter Hilltop house and the attraction. As well as House on the bridge and the famous gingerbread place at Gracemere. "

"We were a party of 10, getting together to celebrate the 60th birthday party of 2 family members. The house was beautiful, plenty of room for everyone, although to be honest we spend most of our time in the cosy but large kitchen and adjacent games room. Many period features allowed you to really experience how they used to love. Kirby Stephen high street was a stones throw away, making it convenient for local shops and pubs. Would highly recommend for a large family get together"
