"Our group of 4 adults had a great stay at this property. While it was a tad tricky to find, Telma helped us through that and warmly greeted us at her charming property. After a quick tour and a few tips she left us with a fresh loaf of bread, some cheese, bottle of her local favorite wine and some pastries. The property was seemingly in the middle of nowhere with views over the local fields but in reality was only a few minutes from the autoroute making it a great base for exploring the area....

" Avoid Vita Portucale and this house !!!!! Our stay for 1 week was a disaster. We didn’t receive the correct address, and no one was there to greet us. The house was dirty, poorly equipped, and had multiple issues: a filthy pool, leaking faucet, unusable washing machine, ant-infested mattresses and dirty, and low water pressure, toilet was blocked for all the week. The agency was unresponsive and demanded payment despite the chaos. This was the worst vacation experience ever. Vita Portucal...

"We booked this because I wanted to be near the sea = we were actually high up on a rocky promontory but that was fine, view was great and we were not in the midst of loads of people. One issue is parking - we had no trouble but I can see during busy times that there may be. But there seems to be enough, just need to be creative. The house was clean and has everything - no AC but with the sea air, probably no need,. It does take time to get used to the European way of heating water for showers...
