"This hotel is quiet, not close to the railroad tracks that are so loud at other hotels in Dalhart. This hotel is also new and nice. Also, there is a good hot breakfast. For dinner, close by is XIT Woodfire Grill, the best restaurant in town."
"Karen is a great host. The place suits our needs to a T. WiFi and TV operation are great! Allowed me to park my 6 X 12 enclosed trailer on sight which I used to bring out one of my bikes so I could occasionally ride to work and we can ride on days off. Great place for our older English Bulldog. Highly recommend if you are staying in this area."
"This was a convenient stop for us on our way from Dallas to Colorado located just off US 385. The house is located in the center of Channing with a nice view of horses out the picture windows in the living room.As noted in other reviews, the house is located next to a rail line. We knew this going in but the trains came through at all hours of the night and sounded a horn due to the nearby intersection.Overall the house was fairly clean but it needs a deep clean to be rated higher. The rooms were comfortable with two queen beds. Overall this property served the purpose for us by giving us a break on our long drive."
