"Nice big room. Had a sea view however there is a huge pine tree in the middle. Room was very big with a very nice and clean bathroom. Check in was easy enough. It is a classic old hotel that could do with some updating. Didnt dibe in so i cant comment on that. Overall a very enjoyable stay abd when the wife says she would stay here again you know its a good hotel. "

"This is a beautiful hotel with wonderful staff. Sure, the building itself is looking a little tired, but it has some stunning features in the public areas. Every member of staff is so friendly and helpful. Breakfast has plenty of choice, and the evening meals we had were superb. Our room had a fridge and a safe. As a woman, I also appreciated the magnifying mirror in the bathroom."

"Beautiful pub opposite a babbling brook. So pretty. Made welcome from the start. Lovely double room with all you need. Great breakfast that sets you up for the day and ate there each of our four evenings. Food very good. Would highly recommend so long as you are happy to drive down very narrow country lanes and reversing back every so often as they are one vehicle roads. Part of being in the country as is being woken by the bleating sheep, quaking ducks and flying geese. Loved it. "
