"Staff were very helpful and friendly. Hotel itself is very dated, desperate need of a revamp. Breakfast was good."

"Well appointed inn with quite a history! Enjoyed the helpful staff—Laundry done for me was a great help for a fee🇨🇦"

"Cozy Inn in an amazing Cornish harbour location. Loved every minute sitting on the windowsill and watching the ongoings outside. Lovely cooked breakfast and traditional pub downstairs. Will come again!"

"Stay AWAY! This pub/inn is not fit for purpose and the manager will lie for his own gain bar staff very politely but some of the clientele (undesirable). Kitchen was closed chief had walked out. We walked in and never stayed in our room as it was clear it was not clean we complained asked for manager he never came we left he lied about us not a place I will ever visit again Expedia got in contact with him he lied again so he was paid we are out of pocket but at least we never had to spend more...

"Fabulous location on the cliff with amazing views. Good choice of drinks and wait staff very good and friendly at breakfast. Spa treatment great and spa pool etc. Nice changing facilities. Would be great to have straighteners available too Check in wasn’t very smooth not told breakfast times or check out times etc Room clean and very comfortable bed Good hospitality tray choices. Plenty of towels etc and products. Found food to be overly expensive at £62 a head for a 3 course steak...

Shower by sauna very good. Hot tub and flooring near pool seemed like it could be cleaner. Breakfast buffet ok but much better ordering off the menu. Food in the restaurant for the evening meal was good. All staff were very good!"

"Great place, the yurt and kitchen cabin had all you could need and was well maintained and clean. Lovely, peaceful surroundings and kids loved the pigs, goats and chickens. Highly recommended!"

But that was, of course, more due to how bad the storm was. Other than that, the room was great. The bathroom was huge and the bed was so incredibly comfortable. The kettle in the room was perhaps...
