"Nice young man, I think the son of owners helped me up a narrow staircase with my luggage. The room was a reasonable size for being in the heart of Istanbul, and was nice, had a fridge (with 2 bottles of water) table & chairs and a comfy bed and a good AC. The area is very convenient to the heart of Istanbul, close to Galata tower, Galata port and near the Trams to cross the river to see the Mosques and more in the old town, also close to the ferries to lots of places. "Wonderful Bosphorus view. Excellent swimming pool. Lovely staff. Clean room. Good food. Dislike: Stair carpet to restaurant is threadbare..not very 5-star. Banging music by the pool and banging music from the 16th floor bar going on till after midnight. Get rid of the terrible music and return the property to tranquility!"
