"Lovely friendly staff, always remembering that I stayed before. We get the room we have requested. We order a vegetarian roast which is outstanding, food delicious and hot. Plenty of parking. Depending where the room is you can hear the traffic going past in the evening & mornings but overall alovely stay. That's why we keep going back and also you have a choice of breakfast part of the deal."

"The property was quiet and spacious. We appreciated having our own parking space close to the front door.The check in details were straightforward.On the negative side, we were disappointed with the bathrooms. The en suite has a door with a clear glass window in it, covered by a sheer curtain. However, it is possible to be sitting on the toilet and seen by one’s beloved as they lie in bed with direct line of sight into the en-suite, especially when the light is on. I had to hang a piece of clothing over the window for privacy. It would not be difficult to fit an opaque curtain.The owners have asked guests not to spray water from the bath onto the floor to prevent it spreading through to the wooden floor in the bedroom. But the bath is very narrow and the water pressure is strong, There is no shower curtain or screen to prevent the water from splashing over onto the floor.The second bathroom is a wet room. The owners advise caution against getting towels, bath mat and loo paper wet. However, again the water pressure is very strong and the shower head sprays water everywhere no matter how careful you try to be. A different shower head with adjustable spray settings would have helped. As would a shower curtain or screen.Finally, there is a note above the toaster asking guests not to place the toaster beneath cupboards. Perhaps they didn’t notice the fly swatter hanging above the toaster, complete with dead flies stuck to it. Most off-putting. We didn’t use the toaster."

"The room was clean though a little tight for space. The ensuite was also a little tight to move around in and the shower tray had a hair line crack through it though that did not affect the using of it. Plus side staff very friendly, room was clean and the evening meal was very nice."

"Meadow VIew Cottage is perfect. The accommodation is lovely, and with disable access too was ideal for my parents. In my opinion, Leap escapes contacted us after our 1st night just to check all was ok, which we appreciated. We will definately stay here again"

"Location was excellent no complaints with that.But it needs some TLC inside and out.The cleaning was not upto standard from other places we've been.Dead flies on kitchen counter, grease under the dish drainer.Extractor fan switches was greasy.Cobwebs in conservatory.Dishwasher smelled as you opened it didn't feel like we could use it.Towels in bathroom smelled musty.And the private dock is dangerous and shouldn't really be used.2/3 planks broken and giving way.Knives and scissors in the block can't really used effectively as so blunt.Gate missing so be careful when letting your dogs outside. It does have a cart to carry stuff from the car to the house which was useful."
