Dreams Tulum Resort & Spa - All Inclusive

Dreams Tulum Resort & Spa - All Inclusive

10/10 Excellent
"Overall, the property was good, and the rooms surrounded by the jungle were amazing. I did notice a few things that could be improved. In the restroom, there were small insects that looked like roaches hiding between the tiles. There were also many mosquitoes and other insects around the paths to the rooms, and we were bitten by something other than mosquitoes. I understand that insects are part of the local environment, but better pest control and attention to the walkways would make getting to the rooms more comfortable. The food was okay, but the buffet options were limited and seemed to repeat in different locations each day. Only a few dishes had much flavor. Also, only one pool was open during our stay because the other was under construction. I’d be interested in returning once the second pool is repaired and giving the property another try."

IIK Tulum by The Spot Rentals

IIK Tulum by The Spot Rentals

10/10 Excellent
"This is always my go to. People just have to understand that they are individually owned or by the rental company ..so you cannot go to the front desk assuming you’re going to get assigned a room and checked in ..so that is something you definitely need to do prior and make sure you’re in communication with them so everything is ready when you get there. The premise is gorgeous. The amenities are great. I love the fact they have a sauna and a Jacuzzi but they definitely need to get the steam room fixed. Housekeeping is on point and each tower has its own individual either pool or sun deck as well as a pretty decent gym & the location is wonderful. Every time I go to Tulum, I play this game where I decide if I’m going to stay closer to the beach or closer to the jungle and then a lot of times either have issues with reception or power outages so I always stay here and you’re right by the city center, but you could be to the beach in a few minutes, across the street from the grocery store and quiet. Definitely get a room with a balcony or kitchen, and they are usually stocked. I will say, though that the rooms have tendency to be kind of on the darker side because the walls are painted black and I think they need more lighting."
