"Lamoon has a lovely front façade, but inside was a bit like an old state school dorm. The design idea for the rooms is good but executed poorly. My 5th fl room at the back of the bldg looked as if it was hastily put together - paint and old glue along the walls. There was a hole in the wall with a wire sticking out, formerly a sconce location? The overall effect was a tired room façade needs attention from someone who has an eye for details. "Good location near to Phuket old town (but not right inside noisy & crowded old town) & Bus terminal 1 where airport bus stop. Quite a few nice eating place where the locals eat. Room is comfortable enough"
