The rooms were not as nice as depicted online. The hotel is still under construction and it feels like the rooms were a little rushed/lipstick flip. The bathtub with the jets was very nice tho.

Close to Big Bear but not the nicest of residential areas there. The access to San Bernardino National Park was great.

Didn’t really explore much of sugar loaf, but it’s nice and quiet. Most of the activities I did were in big bear city by the village

First time for us, despite living in San Diego for ~ 2 decades. Nice mountain town vibe, 3 hours door-to-door. Will definitely be returning.
