"I am not impressed by lofty entrance foyers or grand ballrooms, or a million facilities I never have time to use. The Travelodge is in a converted office block. This provides good clean quiet basic accommodation with no frills you don't want. I stayed in a family room with my girlfriend while touring Nottingham and it was great, and very cheap (under 30 pounds for the room for both of us), cheaper than B&B. The room was very clean and in good condition, better than some 4 stars i have been in....

"special place with special memories BUT the mattress and the towels needs upgrading QUICK! and the bathroom needs a thorough scrubbing! HOWEVER the BATH! oh, the fastest and hottest hot-water EVER!!!!"

"Individual, some parking spaces, excellent location perched on the edge of the sandstone cliff rampart of the old castle, beside the very smart Park Estate and a short walk from city centre, nice garden with good views, excellent breakfast."
