"Had a wonderful 3 night stay here. Originally a prison, it has been converted into a quirky, comfortable hotel retaining many of the features. The bedrooms were cells, small but well equipped with ensuite bathrooms. The position is slightly outside the centre of Stockholm but all the better. Situated on a lovely peaceful island within walking distance to Gamla Stan and the museums. The breakfast is amazing with an enormous variety of choices. The staff were friendly and helpful. "The food was amazing, both the breakfast and dinner at the restaurant. Grounds are beautiful. Staff was very kind. The castle itself is lovely with ornate decor. Slept so well on the bed too. The only issue that came up was getting a to-go breakfast for the early flight out."
