Lovely Hotel

Well located hotel close to the centre of Stockholm. Family room was spacious and clean. Buffet breakfast was excellent.

Very clean, staff friendly and bilingual. I wish they had wash clothes but we got by with hand towels. No room service was a big one for me as well as no phone in the room. Suite was big enough and the bed comfy. Great for a short term stay.

Great experience

We enjoyed a few days stay at this very nice hotel. The service is outstanding and we were vere happy about our stay. Very nice breakfast and nice and clean rooms.

Nice clean hotel close to both subway and trams. Some stores and restaurants in the area as well as a super market. The breakfast at Scandic hotels are always a treat. My only gripe is that there is no way to open a window in the room.

This renovated property with a clean Scandinavian design theme is in a GREAT location -- only a 5-minute walk to the bus, tram and subway station platforms! In less than 5 minutes, we walked to a grocery store, a hair salon, a florist, a few coffee shops, a burger place, and a very nice restaurant overlooking the lake. We enjoyed the quiet room with a comfortable bed, and lots of storage spaces and hooks to hang clothes, bags, hats, etc. They offer a VERY impressive breakfast buffet with so many different types of food, designed to appeal to guests from many different countries. We were grateful for the luggage room, so we could securely store suitcases while we did more sightseeing after the check-out time. This hotel will be our choice on the next visit to Stockholm!

Very reasonably priced. Loved the location. Easy walk to subway, bus and tram. Grocery store and food options near by. Nice little walking/running trail along the shore. Great for families. Breakfast buffet was amazing. Will definitely stay here again when I come back to visit my family in Stockholm.

Perfect budget hotel outside the city center

Lovely stay at Scandic Alvik, we stayed four nights in order to attend the Taylor Swift concert. Intially I was worried that it was located outside the main part Stockholm, but there is extremely well functioning public transportation basically at the front door taking one there in 15 minutes. Hotel itself was quite modern, room we stayed in was freshly renovated and clean the bathroom especially was great, beds were squeeky but comfortable enough, super friendly staff, very nice breakfast all for a very affordable price.

Great family friendly stay

Excellent location for the hotel, close to train line and shops. Very handy when travelling with a little one. Hotel room was clean and tidy and great shower and bath facilities. Cot was missed off the booking but brought up within an hour.

We chose this hotel because it was right next to our customer's office. The staff was friendly and helpful. The room was spacious and clean. It's very close to Alvik station if you need to take a train/ tram/bus. The breakfast was also very good with lots of choices.
