"Had a wonderful 3 night stay here. Originally a prison, it has been converted into a quirky, comfortable hotel retaining many of the features. The bedrooms were cells, small but well equipped with ensuite bathrooms. The position is slightly outside the centre of Stockholm but all the better. Situated on a lovely peaceful island within walking distance to Gamla Stan and the museums. The breakfast is amazing with an enormous variety of choices. The staff were friendly and helpful. Many people note the small rooms - but as expected in a historic building, it is indeed on the smaller side- but charming and cozy which I believe is part of the adventure when traveling Europe. The staff is exceptional. Breakfast has a good variety and a nice way to start the day. I would definitely stay again."

"Very clean and quaint small historic hotel. Location is perfect and very easy access, we could put our luggage there after check out. Staff was wonderful and breakfast was delicious. Just be ware that stairs to rooms are steep and sound carries from the rooms when walking and closing doors - there are earplugs in room for use. I would definitely stay here again - so cozy and nice."
