friendly and enjoy the area for a wander. Things i did not enjoy this time - the window was faulty and the room initially was cold as it was left open and would not close. Toiletries are meagre and not the best quality. The room was noisy and could hear movement constantly above, from all sides and the hallway, rooms next to us. Nescafe coffee is not the best for room facilities nor is ONE bottle of water, 2 small biscuits. Parking used to be free...

to stay overnight which is a priority for us. Lovely clean, comfortable rooms and the staff are very helpful and friendly. The University grounds are beautiful so it's a wonderful location for walking. Will definitely be staying here on future visits to Stirling."

"The downstairs public area of the hotel (the lobby, bar and restaurant) is modern and very nicely decorated but once you get beyond to the corridors and bedrooms the furniture and furnishings show their age and clearly need some updating. "The staff were great but the property could do with a bit of an upgrade. Shower nozzle was blocked and the shower gel was empty. That being said it was not expensive and we had good craic with Dougie and the other locals in the bar."
