"The property has been beautifully furnished and is very charming. It’s handy for the town centre and the Brewery Arts Centre. We’d recommend the Moon restaurant and The Fell bar on Lowther Street. Parking is not convenient or available and we were disappointed that the parking permit we were promised was not available when we arrived. "House is clean and tidy. The kitchen has everything we need. Water pressure and temperature in all bathroom are perfect. Overall we enjoyed our stay. The heater in ground floor got very loud noise after few hours central heating been turn on. Need to turn up the heating,(e.g. from 0 to 2, from 2 to 3)to stop the noise. There were high pitch "beeps" from ground floor which woke everyone in house at 3am and 3:30am on the first night. Sounds like the smoke detector but we were not sure. However,...

"Everything was perfect. Host extremely thoughtful. House was immaculate and in wonderful condition. Location is terrific for getting around Kendal and Cumbria. Wonderful pub, The Duke of Cumberland, nearby with exceptional food and service. "
